Colin Tremblay '14 had a huge performance for the Pioneers at the 2012 Midwest Conference Baseball Championships, hosted by Grinnell College on May 11-12. The designated hitter from Kirkland, Wash., hit an even .500 with six hits in 12 at-bats including two doubles, three RBIs and three runs scored.

Women's Track and Field
Emily Clennon '14 ran a 59.9-second split as the Grinnell College women's track and field team shattered the school record in the 4x400-meter relay at the 2012 Midwest Conference Championships in De Pere, Wis. The Pioneers had a time of 3:59.22 to easily beat the previous school mark of 4:01.39 set earlier this season. Also at the meet, the Philo, Ill., native ran the 100 dash in 12.78 and 200 in 26.42 to rank among the school's top five in both events.
