The Grinnell College women's tennis team continues to boast an unblemished mark after finishing its spring break trip to Florida with a victory.
The Pioneers, ranked 13th in the Central Region of NCAA Division III, beat the West's 12th-ranked team – Pacific University – 7-2 Friday in Orlando.
Grinnell improved to 18-0 with the win, while Pacific dipped to 6-6.
Grinnell posted wins in two of three doubles matches, as
Toby Cain '12 and
Emma Macdonald '14 won at the No. 2 spot and
Kalena Makanui '12 and
Catherine Fitch '13 won at No. 3.
Singles winners, at the Nos. 2 through 6 spots, were
Shirlene Luk '15, Cain,
Clothilde Thirouin '14, Macdonald and Makanui.
Grinnell will play at Carleton College on April 1.
