MADISON, Wis. – The Grinnell College men's tennis team moved on to the 2012 Midwest Conference championship match with a 5-0 win over St. Norbert College Friday morning.

The Pioneers swept doubles play with 8-6 victories by the teams of Elliott Czarnecki '15-Michael Cole '12, Ishan Bhadkamkar '13-Conor Cunningham '15 and Colin Johnson '13-Aaron Lapkin '15.

Grinnell, 23-6 on the season, then got a 6-1, 6-0 win by Bhadkamkar at No. 4 singles and 6-1, 6-2 decision by Cunningham at No. 5.

The Pioneers will face an opponent to be determined in the title match. Grinnell is seeking its ninth MWC crown in a row.
