GRINNELL –  Six female senior student-athletes were honored at the annual Grinnell College Honor G Banquet Sunday at Herrick Chapel.

Kelly Bruce '12 and Jayme Wiebold '12 were winners of the Grace McIlrath Parker '11 Award for outstanding athlete in a single sport. Bruce, a member of the swimming and diving team, won the award for an individual sport and Wiebold, a softball player, for a team sport.

Hannah Colter '12 and Megan Huey '12 claimed the Joyce Buck '56 Award for top athlete in more than one sport. Colter, who runs cross country and track, claimed the award for individual sports and Huey for a team sport. She played basketball for the Pioneers and also competed in track.

Bruce also won the Honor G Scholastic Award for Women, Sachi Graber '12 won the Honor G Service Award for Women and Morgan Bober '12 claimed the Coaches Award. Graber was on the Pioneers' cross country and track teams, and Bober was a member of the swimming and diving squad.
