HANOVER, Ind. – Grinnell College's
Frank Canady '14 concluded his Pioneer cross country career by placing 39th at the NCAA Division III National Championships Saturday morning.
Canady, a two-time national qualifier, toured the 8-kilometer course in 25:28.9 among a field of 275 runners. He is Grinnell's highest finisher at nationals since Adam Booth placed fourth in 2003.
Canady finishes his career with the 10th-fastest time in program history.
The individual champ Saturday was Michael LeDuc of Connecticut College. He had a time of 24:29.3. St. Olaf was the team champion with 84 points.
