GRINNELL, Iowa – With a recent 6-3 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Grinnell College men's tennis coach Andy Hamilton '85 has reached the 300-win milestone for his career.

Hamilton, who took over the program in 1996, improved to 300-137 with the victory.

Under Hamilton's guidance, the Pioneers have won nine consecutive Midwest Conference titles and 10 of the past 11. During their nine-year MWC streak, the Pioneer netmen have posted an impressive 194-61 overall dual match record while failing to drop a conference match.

Additionally, the Pioneers have also won a dozen straight MWC South Division titles while extending their unbeaten streak in divisional play to 48 matches, dating back to 2000.

Grinnell has recorded at least 10 dual-match victories in 16 straight seasons, including 18 or more the last nine seasons. Under Hamilton, the Pioneers have finished no lower than fourth in the league while advancing to the NCAA Division III National Tournament numerous times.

Hamilton took over as coach of the Pioneer women's tennis team in 2007 and has already led the squad to five Midwest Conference team titles and five NCAA Division III National Tournaments.
