Alosha Southern '17 led the way for the Grinnell College women's cross country team Saturday at the Tori Neubauer Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Grinnell was 16th in the 30-team meet with 406 points. The winner was the host school with 61.

Southern finished 55th in a field of 453 runners with a time of 23:31.21. Next in line for the Pioneers was
Paulina Campbell '16, who was 75th in the 6-kilometer race with a personal-best clocking of 23:48.59.

Emma Luhmann '18 was 215th in 24:13.30,
Diana Seer '15 was 109th in 24:17.59 and
Clare Roberts '16 placed 136th in 24:34.04. Luhmann's time ranks 31st in program history.

Toni Androski '16 placed 136th in 24:34.04 and
Bridget O'Malley '17 was 159th in 24:44.09. O'Malley's time ranks 42nd in program history, while
Whitney Teagle's '18 time of 24:51.76 is 43rd.

The individual champ was Viola Kebenei of Iowa Central, who finished in 21:30.67.
