The Pioneers claimed their eighth Midwest Conference title in 11 years Saturday, beating runner-up St. Norbert College 57-67.

Grinnell had five runners earn all-conference honors, led by
Alosha Southern '17. She finished seventh in the 131-runner race in 23:03.41, a time that ranks 10th in program history. She has twice earned all-league honors in her career.

Paulina Campbell '16 was eighth with a time of 23:05.06 over the 6-kilometer route while earning all-league honors for the second time. That time ranks 13th in program history.

Diana Seer '15 was all-conference for the third time, running 23:08.84 to place 10th.
Emma Luhmann '18 was 15th in 23:24.81 and
Clare Roberts '16 took 17th in 23:32.62. Luhmann now has the 16th-fastest time in program history and Roberts the 20th.

Other top Pioneers were
Whitney Teagle '18 (32nd in 24:04.22) and
Samantha Kubica '16 (33rd in 24:04.91). Teagle's time is 30th in program history.

Other Pioneers moving up in the program's top 50 were
Toni Androski '16, who moved to 39th in 24:19.65, and
Emma Zimmerman '18, who reached 42nd in 24:30.56.

The individual champ was Kyra Kimber of Monmouth College, who finished in 21:50.63.

Grinnell will compete in the NCAA Division III Regional Meet Nov. 15 at Pella.
