Central Region Championships

PELLA, Iowa – The Grinnell College cross country teams will look to feed off of their late-season success when they compete in the NCAA Division III Central Region Championships Saturday on the campus of Central College.
 
The men's 8-kilometer race is slated for 11 a.m., while the women's 6-kilometer event is at noon.
 
The top two teams automatically qualify for the NCAA Division III National Championships, as well as the top seven runners from non-qualifying teams. At-large qualifiers will be added on Sunday.
 
Grinnell's men and women both raced to Midwest Conference championships two Saturdays ago. The Pioneer men had been regionally ranked for much of the season and the women are currently ninth.
