DES MOINES, Iowa – Diana Seer '15 cruised to a sixth-place finish in the 3000-meter steeplechase to lead the Grinnell College women's track and field team at the Jim Duncan Invitational on Friday.
 
Seer toured the Drake Stadium track in 11:44.74. Bridget O'Malley '17 added a 10th place finish in 12:54.33 and Meta Williams '18 was 12th in 13:17.14.
 
Alex Neckopulos'17 took eighth in the discus with a toss of 117-10, a throw that ranks seventh in program history.
 
Eloise Miller '15 was 10th in the long jump with a leap of 16-4 ½.
 
The meet continues Saturday.
