Eloise Miller '15 outdid a strong field of nine other competitors to take top honors in the women's triple jump at the Kip Janvrin Invitational on Friday.

Miller leaped 36-7 ¾ to win the title. She also finished eighth in the long jump with a leap of 17-3 ¼ and was 16th in the 200-meter dash in 26.81.

Shannon Young '17 was third in the 1500-meter run in 4:46.35, a time that ranks fourth in Pioneer history.
Emma Zimmerman '18 was 18th in the event in 5:13.34.

Diana Seer '15 placed fifth in the 3000 steeplechase in 11:34.91, just shy of her school record.
Bridget O'Malley '17 was 12th in 12:45.40, which ranks eighth on the Pioneers' all-time chart, and
Meta Williams '18 took 15th in 13:01.48.

Grinnell had a big showing in the pole vault, led by
Athena Carlson's '15 11th-place finish. She went 9-6 ¼.
Elsa Goldman '15 was 12th at 9-1/4,
Samantha McConnell '17 took 15th at 9-1/4 and
Carolyn Peckham '17 was 16th at 8-1/2.

Grinnell was fourth in the 4x400 relay, as
Becca Carpenter '15, Miller,
Sarah Jensen '15 and Young ran 4:09.87. Carpenter,
Nora Bresette Buccino '16, Jensen and
Alex Schmiechen '17 were sixth in the 4x100 relay in 52.01.

Bresette Buccino was 17th in the 400 hurdles in 1:13.38,
Emma Luhmann '18 placed 18th in the 5000 in 18:36.03 and Carlson was 20th in the discus at 98-8. Luhmann's time ranks ninth in program history.
