Eloise Miller '15 and
Diana Seer '15 each broke their own Grinnell College school records at the 2015 Midwest Conference Track and Field Championships Saturday at Ingalls Field.

Miller leaped 38-2 ¾ in the triple jump to beat her previous best of 38-1 ½, established last season, en route to winning the event. Seer took second in the 3000 steeplechase in 11:24.90 to shatter her school record clocking of 11:34.69 which was run in 2014.

Whitney Teagle '18 ran the steeplechase in 12:41.84, the eighth-fastest time in program history. She finished 10th in the race.

Miller was also fifth in the 400 in 59.79, while
Shannon Young '17 took fifth in the 800 in 2:20.75.
Ellen Pinnette '15 placed 10th in the 800 in 2:28.40.

Emma Luhmann '18 was sixth in the 5000 in 18:50.45 and
Nora Bresette Buccino '16 took seventh in the 100 hurdles in 16.20. Bresette Buccino's time is third on the Pioneers' all-time chart.

The 4x100 relay team of
Becca Carpenter '15, Miller,
Sarah Jensen '15 and Young was sixth in 4:12.00, while Carpenter, Bresette Buccino, Jensen and
Alex Schmiechen '17 took seventh in the 4x100 in 52.83.

Additionally,
Alex Neckopulos '17 threw 36-10 ¼ in the discus. That ranks sixth in program history.

Grinnell was fifth in the team standings with 63 points. St. Norbert College won with 214.5.
