JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - Grinnell College's Matt Lieberman '21 (left) and Alex Kleinjan '20 (right) collected individual awards at the 2017 Midwest Conference Cross Country Championships.

Lieberman was named Newcomer of the Year after earning All-MWC honors with a 16th-place finish in 26:20.9. Kleinjan picked up the Elite 20 honor, which goes to the student-athlete with the highest grade point average who competes in the league championships.
