Caleb Cline, originally from Pleasant Hill, Iowa, has joined the Grinnell College baseball staff as an assistant coach.
Cline had previous stints in New Mexico and Louisiana. He received his master's in business recreation/sport administration while serving as an assistant baseball coach during this time.
Before that, Cline received his bachelor's degree in sports administration with an emphasis on physical education from William Penn University. As a member of the Statesmen baseball team, he was a utility player and pitcher.
Cline resides in rural Tama with Kelsey and his dog, Tucker.
"I'm truly excited to add Caleb to our coaching staff," said Grinnell head coach
Tim Hollibaugh. "He is an awesome person with a great baseball background. He adds some great coaching experience to our program as we continue to offer a championship experience to our baseball student-athletes."
