Deanna Taylor ’18, a defensive specialist from Seattle, Wash. (University Prep Academy), had a record-breaking performance in the Pioneers’ contest with Ripon College on Saturday. She accumulated a program-record 40 digs in the five-set affair, breaking the previous Grinnell mark of 39 set in 1997 by Jamie Snider. Taylor currently ranks fourth in the league in digs per set with 5.18.
