The Hall of Fame welcomes Hilary Minnick '02 for her amazing performances on the golf course. Minnick played golf at Grinnell for four years and established quite a record for the sport. As a second-year, she was elected captain, a position she held through her senior year. She was elected the team's Most Valuable Player for all four years and earned four letters. But for her it was just par for the course, since Minnick was also the Midwest Conference women's golf individual champion for four years running (1998-2001). After graduating, Minnick has continued to play golf. She most recently made Low Gross at the Asheville Country Club Women's Invitational in 2007. Minnick lives in Asheville, N.C., where she is the development director for the city's nonprofit domestic violence agency. She is responsible for the success of a $1.5 million campaign to purchase a new facility for the agency. Minnick is also completing the Duke University Certificate in Nonprofit Management.
