Cherres named MWC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa - Grinnell College's Billy Cherres '26 has been named the Midwest Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Cherres, from San Diego, Calif. (Del Norte), recorded a hat trick as Grinnell secured a spot in the MWC Tournament with a 5-0 victory over Lawrence University Saturday. He also had two assists in a 6-1 win over Monmouth College earlier in the week.

The MWC Defensive Player of the Week is Albert Nimako of Illinois College.
