GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College's
Colton Feller '14,
Kevin Hwang '14 and
Morgan Kinsinger '14 have been chosen by a panel of NCAA Division III football coaches to represent Team Stars & Stripes in the fifth annual Tázon de Estrellas (Bowl of the Stars).
The D-III All-Star team will face Mexico's CONADEIP All-Stars in the 36,000-capacity Estadio Tecnológico on the Tec de Monterrey campus on Saturday, Dec. 21. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. Central time.
Kinsinger, a 6-4, 265-pound offensive lineman from Orange City, Iowa (MOC-Floyd Valley), was an All-Midwest Conference selection in 2013. He anchored a Pioneer offense that averaged 249.3 yards per contest.
Hwang, a 5-10, 203-pound defensive back from Park Ridge, N.J. (Park Ridge), was also an All-MWC pick this season. He tied for the MWC lead in interceptions with five. He was also sixth in the league in tackles with 83 and seventh in punt return average.
Feller, a 6-1, 233-pound linebacker from Maquoketa, Iowa (Maquoketa), ranked among Grinnell's leaders in tackles with 58 including 35 solos and seven tackles for loss. He also had an interception.
