Sam Tinkham '16 was named to the 2014 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-Central Region Team.
 
Tinkham, from Newington, Conn. (Newington), was a third-team pick. He is the 2014 MWC South Division Pitcher of the Year. He was 6-1 on the season with a 2.03 ERA.
 
Tinkham struck out 62 batters in 62 innings and had an opponent batting average of .221. He also tied a Grinnell school record with 16 strikeouts in a game.
