For the second time this season, Grinnell College's Isaiah Tyree '15, a 6-1, 175-pound goal keeper from Rachos De Taos, N.M. (Taos), has been named the Midwest Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Performer of the Week.
Tyree, already the nation's leader in save percentage, did nothing to tarnish that accomplishment as he and the Pioneers posted a pair of shutouts over the weekend. Tyree had four saves in a 1-0 victory over Lawrence University on Saturday, and added 11 in a 0-0 tie with St. Norbert College Sunday to move his save percentage to .955 for the season.
Tyree also ranks eighth nationally in goals against average at 0.27. Grinnell has posted eight shutouts this season.
Nathaniel Logie of Knox College was the Offensive Performer of the Week.
