Grinnell College Athletics

Christine Ajinjeru '14 of Kampala, Uganda, sprinted her way into the Grinnell College record book at the Monmouth College Invitational on Saturday. She was part of the 4x400-meter relay team that ran 4:01.39, breaking the previous school record of 4:02.50. She also had times of 26.44 in the 200 dash and 13.21 in the 100, which rank second and 10th, respectively, in school history. The 4x400 team’s time is second in the MWC this season.
