Grinnell College's Alosha Southern '17 collected All-Region honors by racing to a 32nd-place finish at the NCAA Division III Central Region Championships Saturday.

Southern ran the 6-kilometer race on the campus of Central College in 22:50.2, vaulting her to eighth on the Pioneers' all-time chart.

Her efforts in the 189-runner race guided the Pioneers to an eighth-place finish in the 27-team meet.
