Grinnell College’s Daniel Goldstein ’16 has been named the Midwest Conference Men’s Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week.
Pioneer athletes swept the honor, as Maria Venneri ’18 was tabbed the MWC Women’s Performer of the Week.
Goldstein, from Ann Arbor, Mich. (Community), earned a pair of NCAA Division III Regional qualifying scores as the Pioneers successfully defended their team title at the Grinnell Invitational. He won three-meter diving with a score of 469.40 and took top honors in the one-meter event with a score of 472.
Goldstein, the defending MWC Diver of the Year, was a national qualifier last season.
