Shannon Young ’17, from Colorado Springs, Colo. (Coronado), captured runner-up honors in both the 800- and 1500-meter runs at the Cornell College Invite on Saturday.

Her time of 4:57.38 in the 1500 ranks second in the league, while her clocking of 2:23.34 in the 800 is 10th in Grinnell program history.
