JP DeFranco ’18, from Falls Church, Va. (Wakefield), had a sizzling round of 1-over-par 73 to tie for first place at the Midwest Conference Preview Meet Sunday at Aldeen Golf Club Rockford, Ill. The performance of DeFranco, who earlier this season set a school record with a round of 66, lifted Grinnell to second place in the team standings.
