Kayla Morrissey '18 etched her named in the Grinnell College softball record book twice during Tuesday's home doubleheader against Iowa Wesleyan College.

She broke the program mark for hits in season and also tied the single-game home run record. Morrissey had three hits on the day, giving her 43 in 2015. That tops the mark of 41 established in 1998 by Sarah Connor.

She also belted two homers in the second game to tie the school record shared by three other players.
