Michelle Briggs, a 6-3 senior middle hitter from Salinas, Calif. (Santa Catalina School), was named to the All-Tournament Team at last weekend's Northwestern College ACR Homes Tournament.

Briggs hit at an amazing .300 efficiency clip in four matches at the Northwestern College Invitational in Minnesota over the weekend. She pounded down 37 kills to average 2.64 per set. She also recorded seven blocks, including five solos, and served up four aces.

Briggs, an All-Midwest Conference selection last season, ranks fifth in school history with 294 career blocks.
