GRINNELL, Iowa – Ian Dixon-Anderson ’17 of Grinnell College has been named the Midwest Conference Men’s Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week for the sixth time in his Pioneer career.
Dixon-Anderson, from Princeton Junction, N.J. (West Windsor-Plainsboro), had a strong performance in the Pioneers’ dual meet with Connecticut College Saturday at Naples, Fla. He won the 400-yard individual medley in 4:20.29, beating the runner-up from the Camels by more than 2 seconds. Dixon-Anderson also captured second in the 500 freestyle in 4:58.48.
Dixon-Anderson has been a force in the MWC this season, as he ranks second in the 500 freestyle, 1650 freestyle, 200 butterfly and 400 individual medley.
