Grinnell College Athletics

Maria Venneri ’18, from Los Alamos, N.M. (Los Alamos), was a double winner as Grinnell sailed past Macalester College 172-126 in a dual meet Saturday. A national qualifier last season, Venneri won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:01.25 and swam on the winning 200 medley relay team that had a time of 1:55.45. She was also third in the 100 butterfly.
