Grinnell College’s Ana Karin Kozjek ’17 has been named the Midwest Conference Women’s Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week.
This marks the fifth time this season a Pioneer has won the award.
Kozjek, from Ljubljana, Slovenia (Gimnazija Bezigrad), was four-time champ in leading the Pioneers at their own Grinnell Mini-Invitational on Saturday. She dominated the freestyle events, winning the 100-, 200- and 500-yard races in 56.21, 2:02.21 and 5:27.58, respectively.
She also was on the winning 200 freestyle relay team that had a clocking of 1:49.56, and took second in the 100 individual medley with a time of 1:04.01.
