Kayla Morrissey ’18, a third baseman from Burr Ridge, Ill. (Lyons Township North): Morrissey had a stellar week for the Pioneers on their spring break trip to Florida. She batted .381, going 8-of-21 at the plate with five RBIs, two runs, a triple and double. She also had a .524 slugging percentage and was a perfect 1.000 in fielding in 22 chances. For the season, Morrissey leads the team in hitting with a .357 average. She also moved up in the Grinnell career rankings in RBIs and triples, where she is now fourth, and hits, where she is seventh.
