Grinnell College’s Jackson Thompson ’20 has been named the Midwest Conference Men’s Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week.
 
Thompson, from Elkhorn, Neb. (Mount Michael Benedictine), had a strong performance against perennial power Connecticut College in the teams’ annual dual meet in Florida. He took second in the 100-yard backstroke in 55.50, swam on the third-place 200 medley relay team that finished in 1:42.29 and placed sixth in the 400 individual medley with a clocking of 4:42.15.
