The league’s leading scorer became just the second Grinnell player to amass 1,000 points and 500 rebounds as the Pioneers won a pair of MWC games last weekend.

Grinnell avenged earlier losses to Lake Forest and Beloit, beating the Foresters 56-46 and Buccaneers 59-55. Morrissey led all scorers with 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the win over Lake Forest. She also was 3-of-5 from the 3-point line and 10-of-13 on free throws.

Morrissey then posted her fourth double-double of the season with 14 points and a game-high 10 boards against Beloit. She was 6-of-7 from the line and also dished out a game-high five assists.
