Evan Bunis '18 wrapped up a spectacular golf career Saturday with a third-place finish at the 2018 Midwest Conference Championships hosted by Aldeen Golf Club. Bunis earned all-conference honors for the second time in his career, tying for third with a three-day score of 10-over-par 226. That was just two shots off the overall victory and the best finish for a Grinnell player at the event since Pete Kieselbach was third in 2007. Bunis had a 78 Saturday in a round that included a birdie on the first hole.
