Regan Kasprak ’19, from Winfield, Ill. (Saint Francis Preparatory), has been named the Midwest Conference Women’s Soccer Defensive Performer of the Week. Kasprak was a big force in the Pioneers collecting their first win of the season, a 4-0 shutout at Buena Vista University Sunday. Her defensive prowess helped the Pioneers hold the Beavers to just two shots, and Kasprak got into the act offensively by assisting two of the team’s goals. Earlier in the week, Kasprak played a part in Grinnell holding a talented Carleton College team scoreless for 98 minutes before the Knights won 1-0 in overtime.
