Following a weekend in which she won the NCAA Division III Regional 3-meter diving championship and claimed runner-up honors on the 1-meter board, Grinnell College's Sophie Wojdylo '22 has officially been selected to compete at nationals. The NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships are slated for March 20-23 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.
Wojdylo, the first Grinnell female diver to compete at nationals since Kelly Bruce did so in 2011, is one of 29 women to earn a spot in the field. The women's 3-meter event is set for Wednesday, March 20, while the 1-meter competition will be Friday, March 22.Â
