Ray Goedeker '22 used his heroics two times over to propel the Grinnell College men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Coe College in its season opener last Friday.

For his efforts, Goedeker has been named the first MWC Men's Soccer Offensive Performer of the Week for the 2019 season. Goedeker scored a goal with under five minutes to go to force a tie and bring the contest into overtime. And then, just three minutes into the extra period, he found the back of the net for the game-winner.

The MWC Soccer Defensive Performer of the Week is Nick Walter of Illinois College.
