Grinnell College Athletics

Noah Guyton, from Carbondale, Ill. (Carbondale), was named the Midwest Conference Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Guyton anchored the Pioneers’ defensive effort as they shut down Monmouth after spotting the Fighting Scots a sizable lead. After giving up two scores in the first 32 minutes, Grinnell allowed just one goal in the final 58 minutes of the contest to secure the 4-3 win.
