Valencia Alvarez earned All-Midwest Conference women's soccer honors for the third time recently, becoming just the 14th Pioneer to accomplish the feat.
 
Alvarez earned a spot on the All-MWC first team for the second time. A forward, she was a force on offense for the Pioneers while scoring three goals and recording two assists. She ranked among the league's top 10 in shots with 2.84 per game and finished ninth in school history with career shots on goal with 72 and 10th in shots with 156. For her career, she scored 16 goals and had 14 assists for 46 points.
