Grinnell College's Tyria Heath '21 has been named the Midwest Conference Women's Basketball Performer of the Week.
 
Heath, a 5-9 guard from Phoenix, Ariz. (Desert Vista), was phenomenal in the past week, averaging 27 points and shooting 57.7 percent from the field in three games. She achieved a career high of 25 points in a game with Emmaus Bible College and followed that up with another career high of 28 points against Northwestern-St. Paul. She made 9-of-10 field goal tries in the latter game, the second-best shooting percentage in program history.
 
Heath answered the next day by matching her career high of 28 points against Providence-Manitoba.
