Following a stellar round over the weekend, Grinnell College's Mary Li '24 has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Women's Golf Performer of the Week.
Li, from Beijing, China (Beijing City International School), emerged as Grinnell's top golfer at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Invite over the weekend. She shot consecutive 2-over-par 74s for an overall score of 148, tying her for third place in the 117-golfer field.
Grinnell placed third at the tourney, which included several nationally-ranked teams, with a two-day score of 617.
The SLIAC Men's Golfer of the Week is Cody McKinney of Fontbonne University.
