Emma Schaefer ’23, from Niwot, Colo. (Shining Mountain Waldorf School): Schaefer ran the fastest 5000-meter race by a Grinnell runner since 2008, and best in the MWC this season, at the Simpson College Kip Janvrin Invite. Schaefer finished the event in 18 minutes, 5.38 seconds.
