Following an impressive weekend performance, Grinnell College keeper Elinor Arneson '23 has been voted Midwest Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Performer of the Week.

Arneson, from Minneapolis, Minn. (Washburn), recorded two shutouts in as many tries as the Pioneers knocked off Ripon College in MWC play and stepped out of league action to topple Marian University.

Arneson made three saves against Ripon and five against Marian as she posted her sixth shutout of the season. Arneson has a measly 0.57 goals against average in MWC play in 2022.
