Joseph Lytle '14, from Leawood, Kan. (Blue Valley North), was recently named the Midwest Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week.
Lytle had a big performance as the Pioneers swept Simpson College and the University of Nebraska Swim Club in duals Friday, and then defeated Coe College on Saturday to improve to 7-1 on the season.
On Friday, he was on the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team that had a time of 1:33.13 and also finished second in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly in 22.52 and 54.66, respectively. On Saturday, he won the 500 freestyle in 4:54.16 and swam on two runner-up relays.
