Christine Ajinjeru ’14, from Kampala, Uganda (United World College Atlantic), collected a pair of victories at the Cornell College Invitational. She comfortably won both the 100- and 200-meter dashes. She ran the 100 in 13.18 to beat the runner-up by .17 of a second in the 40-runner field. In the 200, Ajinjeru finished in 26.71, beating the second-place runner by half-a-second in the 31-person race. Her time in the 200 currently ranks second in the league. Ajinjeru also ran on the 4x400-relay team that finished second.
