Box Score BELOIT, Wis. – Beloit College worked past the Grinnell College women's basketball team 95-67 Saturday afternoon in Midwest Conference play.

Alissa Hirsh '16 and Anne Boldt '16 each scored 12 points for the Pioneers, who fell to 0-2 in the league and 0-4 in all games. Ariel Keller '17 grabbed seven rebounds, Hirsh had five assists and Cristal Coleman '15 and Abby Jaeger '14 contributed three steals each.

A fast start aided the hosts. After Grinnell's Alex Plemmons '15 hit a basket to tie things at 2-all, Beloit came back with nine unanswered points. Beloit led 52-35 at halftime and continued from there to improve to 1-1 in the MWC and 1-3 in all games.

Grinnell returns to Darby Gymnasium Wednesday to entertain Monmouth College. Game time is 7 p.m.
