Box Score MONMOUTH, Ill. – The Grinnell College women's basketball team lost an 85-43 decision at Monmouth College in Midwest Conference action Tuesday night.

Anne Boldt '16 and Sophia Gatton '17 each scored 12 points for the Pioneers, who fell to 1-11 in the league and 2-15 overall. Boldt and Abby Jaeger '14 tallied three steals apiece, while Alex Plemmons '15 blocked a pair of shots. Lydia Stariha '17 corralled six rebounds.

Jacquice Cooper had 16 points for the Fighting Scots, who are 9-3 in the MWC and 13-4 overall. Monmouth led 44-16 at halftime.

Grinnell takes to the road again to face Lake Forest College on Saturday. Game time is 3 p.m.
