GRINNELL, Iowa – Ripon College scored in the 66th minute to defeat the Grinnell College women's soccer team 1-0 in Midwest Conference action Saturday at Springer Field.
 
Ripon won the shots battle 13-9, with Carolyn Silverman '17 taking two for Grinnell and seven other players one apiece.
 
Katy Oldach '16 recorded eight saves as Grinnell's keeper.
 
The Pioneers are now 0-2 in the Midwest Conference and 2-6 overall. Ripon moved to 2-1 in the league and 6-3-1- overall.
 
The Pioneers entertain Lake Forest College next Saturday at Springer Field. Kickoff is at 11 a.m.
