GRINNELL, Iowa – The good times continued for the Grinnell College men's soccer team as the Pioneers gave coach
Brian Jaworski a milestone victory Saturday afternoon.

The Pioneers stretched their winning streak to three games and gave Jaworski (pictured at the left) his 100th career victory in a 2-1 decision over Nebraska Wesleyan University at Springer Field. It marked Nebraska Wesleyan's first loss of the year.
Nick Brule '17 scored his team-high sixth goal of the year just 13 minutes into the game on an assist by
Artis Curiskis '18, his second of the year.
On the play, Curiskis had the ball outside the box on the right side. He sent a short pass to Brule, who took the ball into the box with a couple of dribbles and finished by kicking past the keeper's outstretched hands.
Grinnell made it 2-0 in the 29th minute on a penalty kick by
Carlos Piedrasanta '20.
Colton Silvia '17 had the ball in the box when he was fouled by the keeper, resulting in Piedrasanta's score.
Nebraska Wesleyan added a goal in the 50th minute.

The Pioneers won the shots battle 12-11, with Brule taking four shots, Piedrasanta three and Curiskis and
Mikoto Kobayashi '20 two each.
The Pioneers improved to 4-3, while Nebraska Wesleyan fell to 4-1-2.
