GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College's men's soccer team put up a great fight against highly-regarded Carleton College, but lost a narrow 1-0 decision Saturday afternoon at Springer Field.
The Knights scored the lone goal of the game seven minutes in. After the 2-0 Knights failed on a few scoring opportunities early in the second half, Grinnell got momentum back and came close to putting the ball in the net a few times to no avail.
